Olde Fashioned Christmas

The Thornbury BIA is thrilled to be bringing another Olde Fashioned Christmas to Thornbury this year on Saturday December 10th, 2022 on Bruce Street! 

Start your day off with fun arts and crafts at L.E Shore Memorial Public Library at 173 Bruce Street South, enjoy Carriage Rides from Windy Acres with pick-up and drop-off from Sterlings at 15 Harbour Street, live music with Michael Martyn and holiday shopping in the afternoon. Then, walk over to the Town Hall at 32 Mill Street for our annual Holiday Tree lighting with Mayor Andrea Matrosovs for 5:00pm. 

Celebrations continue into the evening with Axed Throwing, the Collingwood Circus Company outside on Bruce Street and the Georgian Life Photo Booth located at The Corner Cafe & Grill. Stay warm on Bruce Street roasting chestnuts over fire pits with to the Town of the Blue Mountains Fire Department. Drew Mcivor will also be playing live music on Bruce Street South for, along with the Rhythmix Quartet bringing holiday cheer all evening. Tyler Boyle will also be leading a dance party at 7:00pm! 

We’ve heard from the North Pole that Santa Claus is able to come join us again this year! He will be on Bruce street to hear special Christmas wishes in the parkette across from the Thornbury Bakery between 5:30-7:30pm.
